West Point Tour de Lake

The Annual Tour de Lake is a wonderful family-oriented ride with four options around scenic West Point Lake and surrounding areas that provides a ride for all skill levels. The 25 mile route is considered a good ‘beginners’ route while the 50, 75, and 100 routes are moderate to strenuous terrain.
In addition to rest stops every 10 to 15 miles, with food, drinks, and restrooms; support vehicles (S.A.G.) will be provided during the ride by Golden's Bicycle Shop, who will also be on hand before the ride to check your bike out before you ride!
You will also see amateur radio operators from the LaGrange Amateur Radio Club on the course providing top-notch communications to keep everyone together!

This ride is sponsored by the non-profit La Grange Amateur Radio Club, Inc. This club supports many events such as the Wheels of Fire ride, Blazing Saddles ride, MS Cox ride, Pine Mountain Challenge ride, March of Dimes walk, and the West Point Lake Triathlon. We are the ones in Orange or Yellow vests with radios at intersections, assisting SAG vehicles and at rest stops providing needed communication between volunteers and key personnel.
Proceeds from the West Point Tour de Lake event is a fund raiser for our club and will be used to maintain equipment to support local Emergency Management Agencies, other public agencies, or the general public in times of an emergency, distress or disaster.
